Accreditations

Applied Research Laboratories (ARL) is recognized in every state of the United States and by international agencies in numerous countries such as MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry), which includes recognition for testing to Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). In addition, we are currently able to provide our Listed clients with CSA (Canadian Standards Association) approval and the European Union (EU) mark on any Listed product.

ARL currently holds a National Evaluation Report as an approved Testing Laboratory. This published report includes approval by the following agencies: ICBO (International Congress of Building Officials), SBCCI (Southern Building Code Congress, International), BOCA (Building Officials and Code Administrations) and CABO (Council of American Building Officials).

ARL is also accredited by such regulatory agencies as IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials), ISTA (International Safe Transit Association), BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association), CAMA (Concrete Anchor Manufacturing Association) and many more.

In addition, ARL is accredited as an NRTL "Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory"
