Applied Research Laboratories (ARL) is a full service national and international accredited testing agency that provides testing for compliance to standards for safety as well as performance testing for a wide variety of consumer products. We are independent of any government or manufacturing organization and have been engaged in testing for consumer safety for more than fifty (50) years.

What makes us truly distinctive is the Listing, Labeling and Follow-Up Service program we provide clients following successful testing of their products. This program is designed to assure regulatory officials that products included in our Listed Products Directory have been tested and found to comply with current, nationally recognized standards and are under a continuing reinspection program.
